Jax Taylor talks weight gain

The reality star says that he didn’t even realize that weight he had put on. A fan mentioned it to him on Twitter. This made Jax wonder why nobody else had said a word and he picked up on it. This was all in February of 2017. Jax said, “I looked disgusting. I was like a butterball. I was not lean. I didn’t have the chiseled look that I used to have.” He went on to say that this had to stop.

Jax Taylor got up to 235 lbs. at one point. He said that he normally weighs around 175 lbs. This was a huge weight gain for him and he was shocked. Jax didn’t just take it and go on, though. Instead, he decided to take control of his weight and lose that weight. Jax Taylor now weighs 193 lbs. which is a 42 lb. weight loss. That is huge and he is excited to be showing it off.

What caused the gain?

It turns out that before the show Jax was doing modeling. When the show started, he was filming all the time plus spending a lot of time partying. This is obviously why he gained the weight. Jax admits to not having time to go to the gym as he should. Now Jax Taylor looks so good that Men’s Health wanted to show off his body. That is a huge improvement and hopefully, he can stay that way now.

Now, Jax is looking great and ready for his wedding to Brittany Cartwright. A lot has changed for him over the last year and things are really looking up.

Are you shocked to hear how much Jax Taylor ended up gaining while on the show? Let us know in the comments and don’t miss the new episodes of Vanderpump Rules on Monday nights on Bravo.
