‘Sister Wives’: Meri Brown Updates On Her BNB During COVID-19

Sister Wives Meri Brown Lizzie's Heritage Inn

Sister Wives fans know that Meri Brown desperately hoped to buy her ancestral home and turn it into a BNB. A few seasons back, fans  saw how the other wives and Kody didn’t want to support her in the venture. But she got it up and running and Lizzie’s Heritage Inn built a good reputation in the past few years. But now, like many BNB properties, she struggles a bit during the coronavirus pandemic.

Sister Wives – what’s going in with Meri Brown’s BNB during COVID-19?

Meri updated her fans on the BNB’s Instagram page this weekend. She shared a serene-looking photo of the place and notified people that they are not accepting bookings at the moment. Meri wrote, “In the interest and safety of our staff and community, we are not currently accepting any bookings until further notice.” Plus, she noted that they won’t take bookings for “tours,” either. While she said they feel bad about not taking bookings, they nevertheless love “the support” they get from fans.  Naturally, the “inn and staff miss the guests that keep our home so lively.”

Meri looks forward to when “we can all commune safely together again.” TV Shows Ace reported in December, that Meri celebrated the fact that the inn has already been up and running for two years. How gratified she must feel, fans think. After all, she fought the Sister Wives family so hard for it. And, more than that, they have also won awards already. In September last year, we noted that it got declared the “Best Country Inn” in Utah 2019.

Meri takes bookings for essential services

While the post on Lizzie’s Heritage Inn’s Instagram mentions they don’t take any bookings, it seems they manage some business at the moment. InTouch Weekly noticed another exchange about the BNB on Meri’s LuLaRoe page A fan asked her about the inn and how she copes during the coronavirus. Meri replied to them saying, “We’re only open for essential travelers right now.” Actually across much of the world, many BNB’s share the same stipulation.

While people stay home and await the worst of the virus to pass, at least some establishments like that of Meri Brown still get some business. And, fans like that she closed to vacationers. One Sister Wives fan said to her on the BNB page, “Can’t blame you. Thank you for thinking of others as well as your family!! Stay safe!!” Another one expressed the same opinion, noting, “Thank you for keeping you, your staff and guests safe.” Meri nicely thanked those commenters for their great support and looks forward to hosting them later.
