It was also reported that a family member claimed that they spotted Matt around 8 AM local time on Wednesday. He was reportedly near the Driscoll Island Wildlife Area off Highway 97 in Oroville, Washington. This was less than a mile from where a witness claimed to have seen a man swept away in the Okanogan River. The relative also claimed that Matt is known to frequent the area, using it as a campground and a fishing spot.

As noted in Bear’s recent video, which alluded to Matt’s possible suicide, strong weather has impacted the area. Thanks to this, authorities shared on Friday that the search would resume after weather conditions improve.
