Miranda Lambert Suffers Two Heartbreaking Deaths

Miranda Lambert took to social media on Friday, November 21st, to share heartbreaking news with her fans. The singer, who has a 400-acre farm in Tennessee with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, lost two of her beloved animals.

The country star has many rescue animals on her huge farm, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and her beloved miniature horses. Miranda Lambert revealed on Instagram that two of her animals, miniature horses named Adrianna and Sugar Pie, had passed away.

“My sweet little nugget’s Sugar Pie and Adrianna crossed over the rainbow bridge today. 🌈 I’ve had 18 years with these littles and I can’t tell you how much joy they brought me,” Miranda Lambert wrote on Instagram. She shared photos of the mini horses she’d had for nearly twenty years.

“The best part about being an animal mom is the joy. The worst part is when the time comes to say goodbye,” the singer said about the heartbreaking loss. She gave a shout-out to the farm’s caretakers who manage the animals while she’s on tour.

“Full of gratitude for them and for Tommy, Julia and Sarah and everyone who helped take care of them and give them the best life when I was on the road all these years,” the “Good Horses” singer wrote.

She’s An Animal Lover

Despite the heartbreaking loss, Miranda Lambert found some comfort in the belief that she’ll see her beloved miniature horses again someday. “Godspeed little bitty’s. I know you are both in greener pastures as I type this. I’ll see y’all again one day. Big love,” she wrote in the caption.

Miranda Lambert has a long history as an animal lover. In 2009, she founded the MuttNation Foundation with her mom. The foundation’s mission is to find a home for every shelter pet. The singer often hosts fundraisers to support the operation and raise awareness about the importance of adopting from shelters.

Miranda Lambert put together the Band Together Texas relief concert this summer for victims of the floods that ripped through her home state. While that fundraiser was for people, she spearheaded efforts to help animals displaced by the wildfires in California in early 2025.
