Diddy Gets Bad News, Feds Pile On More Shocking Criminal Charges
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been facing various legal issues since his arrest this past September. Recent reports say that he is facing new criminal charges with a third superseding indictment. The mogul’s legal team has also spoken out over the story.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Is Facing A Third Superseding Indictment
Diddy has been facing various legal issues following his September indictment. In addition to the original charges against him, which included sex trafficking, other figures have come out with accusations, and civil lawsuits, against him over the following months.
The mogul is currently spending his time at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His legal team had attempted to see him released on house arrest, but had abandoned such plans after a third bail proposal was rejected by a judge.

According to TMZ, Diddy is now facing new criminal charges after prosecutors have issued a third superseding indictment. As the publication reported, new legal documents claim the feds are adding two new charges.
The first is for “sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion.” The second is for “transportation to engage in prostitution.”
According to feds, the new charges come from allegations made against the mogul from 2021 to 2024. They reportedly relate to an individual identified as “Victim-2.”
Through this new indictment, Diddy is now facing five criminal charges. This includes “two counts of sex trafficking, two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and one count of racketeering.” If convicted, it is believed these charges could increase Diddy’s possible time in prison.
The Mogul’s Legal Team Has Also Recently Issued A Statement Over The News
Diddy’s legal team has since released a statement over the news. As it read, “These are not new allegations or new accusers. These are the same individuals, former long-term girlfriends, who were involved in consensual relationships.”
As the statement continued, “This was their private sex life, defined by consent, not coercion.” As the publication noted, Diddy’s legal team had previously described many of the alleged victims as former girlfriends.

This also notably comes out as Diddy recently saw a few of the civil lawsuits against him get dropped. As previously reported, in at least one case, this was due to the statute of limitations having expired as well as a judge not finding the allegations against Diddy holding weight.
At the time, Diddy’s attorneys shared, according to Rolling Stone, “This is now the second case brought by these attorneys against Mr. Combs that has been dismissed in its entirety. It will not be the last. For months, we have seen case after case filed by individuals hiding behind anonymity, pushed forward by attorneys more focused on media headlines than legal merit. The other claims, like the one dismissed today, also will not hold up in a court of law.”
For his part, Combs had pled not guilty to previous charges. His trial is currently scheduled for May 5, 2025.
