Demi Moore Updates Fans On Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis’ family shared in February 2023 that he had frontotemporal dementia. Frontotemporal dementia is a degenerative disease that primarily affects communication and behavior, vs memory, like other types of dementia. Bruce’s family shared that he has had difficult days but has been mostly stable since his diagnosis. Demi Moore recently gave an update on her ex-husband’s condition. She said Bruce is “In a very stable place at the moment.” She continued:
“I’ve shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely. It’s so important for anybody who’s dealing with this to really meet them where they’re at, and from that place, there is such loving and joy.”
Demi Moore did admit that Bruce’s diagnosis has been difficult on his loved ones, including their three children Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Willis also has two children with his second wife Emma Heming Willis. Emma is Bruce’s primary caregiver. Demi said that it has been “very difficult” to watch Willis struggle with his frontotemporal dementia. She added, “[It’s] not what I would wish upon anyone.” Demi Moore continued “There is great loss, but there is also great beauty and gifts that can come from it.”
Bruce Willis And Daughter Tallulah Reunited
Bruce Willis’s daughter Tallulah has been spending more time together since his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. Tallulah revealed she has learned to embrace time with her dad despite his health struggles. Tallulah posted photos of her and her dad on Instagram. They are seen smiling, hugging, and enjoying downtime at home. Bruce’s daughter admitted that she has struggled to accept her father’s condition. Tallulah captioned her Instagram post:
“Hey I love this guy so much and feeling feelings is tough stuff, but I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it.”

Bruce Willis’ family has shared that he has “challenges with communication.” This goes along with his prior diagnosis of aphasia. Willis’s family added:
“Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce’s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research.”
For now, Bruce Willis’s family continues to support him as his dementia progresses. His daughter Tallulah has confessed that she originally avoided dealing with her dad’s diagnosis. However, she has a new attitude about it and has declared her love for her father.
