Kim Kardashian Responds To The Leaked Phone Call, Says Taylor Swift Is A Liar
Kim Kardashian had been keeping quiet about the phone call that leaked between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Now that Taylor has broken her silence about it, Kim feels the need to as well. Taylor threw a little shade before she posted the important message of donating to WHO.
She said on Instagram. “instead of addressing “*that call* (you know, the one illegally recorded, that somebody edited) swipe up for what’s really important.” She also said it put, her, her fans, and her family through hell.
On Twitter, Kim K stated that the timing of Taylor reigniting the argument is poor. She said it seems very self-serving because of the suffering others are going through right now. “I didn’t feel the need to comment a few days ago. I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now,” she tweeted.

Kim Kardashian Had A Lot To Tweet About It
Kardashian said since Taylor continued to talk about it, she had to say something because the singer is lying.
The reality star said no one ever denied that the word b**** was used without her permission according to Buzzfeed. Kardashian said, “To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that Kanye never called to ask for permission.”
She said that part of the song wasn’t written when the conversation took place. Kim said the lie was never about that word, but, “whether there was a call or not.”
Taylor’s Publicist Issued A Retort About The Phone Call
Kim Kardashian defended Kanye for recording the phone call. She said, “Kanye as an artist has every right to document his musical journey and process, just like she recently did through her documentary.” She said the phone call would have gone in the trash had Taylor not forced her to defend him.
After that Kim said she wouldn’t talk about it anymore because no one cared. Taylor’s publicist, Tree Paine, then offered a reply on Twitter. She posted her unedited statement with what she’d said about the call which Kim was referencing. She also said, “P.S. who did you guys piss off to leak that video?.”
I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing.
P.S. who did you guys piss off to leak that video? 😂😂😂 https://t.co/AtMGUp3t24 pic.twitter.com/EjGDwAdL6O

In the statement, she said, “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single on her Twitter. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.” It seems neither side is willing to back down or admit wrongdoing. Fans will watch both sides closely.
