‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals New Costumes For Season 12
The Masked Singer Season 12 is almost here with the new season premiering on Wednesday, September 25, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. With the new season only two weeks away, the show has revealed several of the new costumes that are arriving.
Here is a look at what fans can expect.
The Masked Singer Reveals New Costumes For Season 12
The Masked Singer already revealed some costumes for Season 12 in July. However, the show is now counting down some more big costumes that fans can see this season on the show. This includes designs never seen before on the popular reality TV competition series.
The Fox reality series released a look at six new costumes for the upcoming season (via EW). The first is simply called Goo and is a green “Goo” character with a yellow suit and bow tie. It has reddish-orange eyes and was described as something resembling the sludge from the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
The second is Strawberry Shortcake. It has a red strawberry with a red bow in her hair. She wears a white blouse with a cake serving as a skirt. Additionally, there are white striped pants and white-heeled shoes, each with a strawberry on them. This is the first food costume revealed this season.
The third new costume is a Woodpecker. While The Masked Singer added another bird to the cast of costumes from the show’s history, this one stands taller, wears boots, and sports a colorful red costume. It looks a lot like the flamingos, peacocks, and swans from the past.
The Masked Singer New Costumes Remain Inventive
The four new Masked Singer costume is the Leaf Sheep. This is a real creature, albeit one that is not as known as others. More so, it is a sea slug with a white face, a big smile, and green leaves serving as hair. It doesn’t appear to have legs, though, and it is huge so it might have more than one person inside.
Up next is Ship, and this is one of the new costumes that have already performed in a sneak peek for Season 12. In the performance, it sang “Pompeii” by Bastille, and it appears that it may be a contender to win it all. However, some fans have guessed it could be anyone from Annie Lennox to Cher.
Finally, the sixth new costume is Chess Piece. Of course, this one has a chess-piece head design and a white and black checkerboard dress.
