With the criminal charges involving Matthew Perry’s death going, it opened up the emotions of his loss again. His ex-girlfriend has talked about his death recently, and now his close friends are chiming in. When it comes to the cast of Friends, they are constantly in contact about his death and what their plans are.
Here is what we know about the Friends cast and their plans to honor his memory.
Matthew Perry’s Friends Co-Stars Still Mourning His Death
It has been almost a year since Matthew Perry died. However, with all the arrests that have recently occurred based on his death, it has many people remembering their lost friend again. This includes the cast of Friends.
With the recent arrests and now some people pleading guilty, the Friends cast have started mourning again about their friend’s death, “Jennifer, Lisa, Courteney, and David are in constant communication right now. This brings up so much sadness and anger,” an insider said (via In Touch Weekly).
The insider also said that the recent arrests and details surrounding his death have them “grieving all over again.” They are now uniting to support each other through the situation.
“They’re absolutely disgusted by the way he was exploited, and they’re obviously devastated,” the insider said. “But at the same time, it’s really strengthened their resolve to get together and help out and do whatever they can to keep the positive side of his legacy intact.”
Friends Cast Wants To Remember Matthew Perry
The insider went on to say that the Friends cast hate that so much talk is going on about Matthew Perry’s last days. They reportedly want him remembered for the person he was before his death.
However, they also want justice served for those responsible. With five people arrested and three pleading guilty already, the source said they understand what has to be done to find justice. They consider it worth it.
“They’ve also been in touch with Matthew’s family and let them know that they’re all ready and willing to help in any way they can,” the insider said. They revealed that they want to do a Matthew Perry special to honor his life and what he meant to everyone when the trials are over.
The insider said the cast wants “to really honor his life and the bright spark he was so that the ugliness of his final days isn’t the lasting impression. They feel it’s what his legacy deserves.” They will have to coordinate it with his family. However, that won’t be until the trials have ended.

Mathew got a raw deal. How can you give someone drugs over and over knowing he has a problem then not expect him to take them when he is doped up. I hope they hang these 5. They make me sick to take advantage of him for the money. Didn’t care he died. What goes around comes around. God Bless you Matt. You had good intentions. I’m so sorry. 🙏🏻🥲
Love the idea of the Friends cast coming together to honor him with a Matthew Perry Special. I think that would outweigh all the negativity swirling about in regards to these morons, some so called doctors, who took advantage him, his illness and place in our world. That would be a perfect way to quell the insanity and bring Matty, as well as his fans, the peace he has always been seeking.
