‘American Pickers’ Jersey Jon Gives Exciting New Season Update
Fans missing American Pickers just got some good news from Jersey Jon. While the new season is not here yet, it is closing in, and there is more to come. Jon has let fans know that the wait won’t be much longer, and they are already out and doing a lot more to keep the great episodes coming for fans.
Here is what Jon had to say about the future of the popular reality TV show.
Jersey Jon Has News About American Pickers
Jersey Jon (real name: Jon Szalay) took to Instagram to let fans know that more American Pickers is coming very soon. He also assured fans that they are out shooting more footage already for what will end up being the next season of the hit History Channel series.
“We are out in the awesome Midwest filming all-new episodes of AMERICAN PICKERS!! stay tuned for the upcoming season on the History Channel!!!,” he wrote in the caption.
This is great news, as the show has been renewed for three more seasons, with Mike Wolfe leading the charge. Mike also said that the new season on the History Channel should arrive as early as October. At the same time, Mike and his crew, including Jersey Jon, have been filming what will eventually become episodes of the next season.
Jon is excitedly promoting that right now. Mike Wolfe is traveling with his new team of Jersey Jon, Robbie Wolfe, and Danielle Colby. The last season of American Pickers was one of the worst-rated and lowest-watched in years. Part of it was due to Frank Fritz’s firing.
Since that happened, Frank suffered a stroke and likely will never return to American Pickers.
The New American Pickers Season
The new format of American Pickers still sees Mike Wolfe as the leader of the team as they travel across the country trying to find antiques to purchase.

Mike’s brother Robbie has replaced Frank Fritz as the new right-hand man as they travel the United States, buying and selling the treasures they find. Jersey Jon is an antiques expert and loves vintage motorcycles. He has been on the show for years, working alongside Mike and Frank since 2012.
As for when the new season will arrive, Mike mentioned to a fan in the comments on an older Instagram post that he heard the season will premiere sometime in October 2024. Previously, new seasons started in October in the years 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019.
