‘Sister Wives’ Why TLC Moved Robyn Brown Away & Put Her In Black
Recently, Sister Wives released a new preview for the upcoming Season 19 premiere. But now, the reasons why TLC moved Robyn Brown away from the other wives and put her in black are explained.
Sister Wives Promises Drama
While the Sister Wives preview promises tons of drama soon, there are also subtle details that fans are picking up on. Undeniably, there is a shift in the focus of the show. Now that Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown are all separated from Kody and Robyn Brown, it has a true “us vs. them” feeling. But Robyn shows she is struggling with the changes in the family. While Kody and Robyn are practicing monogamy, there are many details to sort through with the other three wives leaving.
Why TLC Moved Robyn Brown Away & Put Her In Black
However, fans are seeing the writing on the wall. They noticed a specific move that TLC made to have attention on Robyn Brown being in a different place in the family now. On Reddit, fans discuss a huge observation they made about the upcoming Sister Wives Season 19 premiere. At first, someone says, “The villains always wear black!!” Then, they add a photo of Meri, Janelle, Christine, Kody, and Robyn. But one big thing that people notice is the stark difference from the right side of the photo to the left. From right to left were the three wives that exited the marriage and then Kody and Robyn were on the end side by side.
Undeniably, the production team knew what they were doing. Not only were the first three ladies in white, but Kody and Robin were in dark colors. Likewise, Robyn is no longer included with the other wives.
Fans Notice The Subtle Hints
After the initial post, several fans jumped in to talk about the upcoming season of Sister Wives. Undoubtedly, there were plenty of people who noticed the subtle hints TLC gives with Kody and Robyn Brown’s clothes and placement.
- “I noticed that too. The three that left are in white, with light hair, glowy makeup, and bright eyes. They look empowered. Then K&R are in black, more subtle makeup, and their eyes aren’t as bright. They almost look defiantly smug. Almost. There’s definitely been a switch up in the editing/narrative because this is clearly supposed to make it look like a good vs evil or light vs dark situation. Another thing to add to that ‘vs’ narrative is the placement of Robyn. She’s no longer grouped with the wives like in previous publicity/promo shoots, with Kody in some ‘head’ position or not pictured at all. She’s separated from them both in position and color. They want to make it clear its no longer ‘Kody and the wives’, it’s now the ‘exes’ and the ‘winner’. Or the ‘survivors’ and the ‘villains’.It’s all very symbolic. Makes me think K&R are going to get a sh*t edit this season.”

Wow! Some nasty, keyboard warrior fans out there. Hoping that others’ lives will fall apart, when they don’t even know these people personally, is insane. Even if they did know them personally, it’s still wrong. I’ve had my whole world fall apart, due to no fault of my own. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, not even a sworn enemy. Karma comes for us all. These nasty Kody/Robin haters, with the even nastier comments, will get theirs too, and on Lady Karma’s time schedule, which is totally unpredictable. She really loves to kick you when you’re already down too! The only people that I like on the whole show are Meri and Robin. I also like Robin’s kids because they’re not complete jerks or two-faced like many of the blood related Brown kids. That speaks volumes about Robin’s parenting ability. Lest we not forget how wives #2 and #3 have treated both Meri and Robin over the years. At times, it’s been catty, awful and drenched in jealousy. I hope these rabid fans realize that this is a reality show. Historically, reality shows don’t depict everything that goes on behind the scenes. They also materialize dramatic situations and overly amplify them and they downplay the good events or don’t show then at all. Otherwise, petty people, who live for nonsensical and unnecessary drama, like some of these fans quoted in this article, wouldn’t watch at all.
When people say “karma will come for you”isn’t that wishing ill on others? Won’t karma then come for you? If it hasn’t already?

Kody should be ashamed the way he treated his adult children. He’s getting everything he deserves and Robyn has always been insecure. He picked Robyn as heis favorite everyone especially the kids knows it. too bad he didn’t make peace with his son before he died. kudfos to the women who ditched him and Moved on .
Y’all missed something else. All the ladies are lined up in the order that they left Kody.
I am so happy for the “escapes” if they’re now living their best lives. If Kody and Robin are now concentrating on their kids and everyone is doing well then Great. I wish no ill on anyone. Kody’s older children will most likely have a lot to “unpack” as time goes by and perhaps that’s part and parcel if polygamy. I have no idea. However, I do know this – I have watched these people probably too long. I really don’t think there should be another season. TLC should smile, say “enough” and stand waving from behind until Kody’s car is out of sight.
I will not be watching put of respect for Garrison, and I am tired of Robyn ‘s constant whining & crying EVERY show….get rid of Cody & Robyn.
