‘The Bachelor’: Colton Underwood Slams Peter Weber And Production
The Bachelor alum, Colton Underwood ended up with Cassie Randolph in his season of the show. Known as the “virgin” Bachelor, he never proposed to her on the show. But, they remain together even though they feel under a lot of pressure sometimes. Well, Peter Weber also came under pressure, and Colton slammed both production and Peter for the way it all turned out.
The Bachelor – Colton Underwood writes a book
TV Shows Ace reported that Colton wrote a book titled The First Time. It’s not just about his experience on The Bachelor but also takes people back to his childhood. But, a significant amount of it talks about his experience in the franchise. Forever famous on Bachelor Nation for jumping the fence, he certainly knows how it feels to be under pressure on the ABC show.
Peter Weber seemed very undecided about who to choose. He clearly liked Victoria Fuller, Hannah Ann Sluss, Kelley Flanagan, and Madison Prewett. In the end, when Madison dumped him over Fantasy Suite issues, he faced just one contestant as his final choice. Anyway, he proposed to her, which delighted his mother Barbs. However, The Bachelor fans heard they split after a while and Chris Harrison fetched Madison back. She appeared in the final show and they started dating to his mother’s horror. They split just days after Barbs had a fit about Maddie on national television.

Colton feels sorry for Peter but blames him and production
There’s a lot of chatter about the outcome of Peter Weber’s season on Colton’s Instagram. But, he couldn’t really talk openly about the show as he was under some sort of ABC gag order. But now it’s over, he shared about his feelings on his Instagram Stories. US weekly got ahold of it and noted what he said. He mentioned that he “feels sorry” for Peter, but he never excused Peter over the way he handled it all.
Even though Colton never watched the season, he obviously knows all about it. He noted, in answer to a fan that he couldn’t “go into detail.” But, he said enough to realize he’s not over-impressed with Peter’s season on The Bachelor. Colton noted, “What I can say is I feel like it was way overproduced and both parties could have done a much better job (Peter and production).” Like many fans, he believes that Peter could have stood up for himself and put his foot down. He especially feels that it’s pertinent when “the TV show part of things started to control his relationships.”
Production could have helped guide Peter better.
Colten felt that the production team didn’t do a great job in guiding Peter. He also talked about going with your gut, something he reminds his followers that he noted in his book.
