Pawn Stars fans mostly love Rick Harrison. While there are differing views on his son and some other employees, Rick keeps fans returning for more. However, fans saw the reality TV star’s home in a recent episode. This did not go well. Many fans looked at the house and its decorations and had nothing nice to say about it.

Here is a look at why fans hated Rick Harrison’s house when they saw it on Pawn Stars.

Rick Harrison’s House Called ‘Gaudy’

A recent Pawn Stars episode featured Rick Harrison’s home. While most episodes deal with the pawn shop crew buying or passing on things brought in, sometimes they show the cast’s life outside of work. In this case, there was an episode with Salvador Dali paintings, but it also took cameras inside Rick’s house.

Rick has two homes, one in Las Vegas and another in Oregon. He also likes to collect “odd stuff.” Since he owns a pawn shop, he gets the first crack at many odd items that often make their way into his home. In 2019, he pointed out some weird things in his home, including a 200-year-old door, an 800-year-old window, and a wine cellar with more than 1,000 bottles (via Las Vegas Review-Journal).

However, what fans saw on Pawn Stars went beyond antiques. The cameras went to Rick’s home when he came across a Salvador Dali cookbook and wanted to host a dinner party. When the cameras went inside the house, fans revolted.

Pawn Stars Fans Mock Rick Harrison’s Home

Rick Harrison had a lot of things in his house that made fans’ heads spin. It wasn’t just that his collection was odd. The collection itself seemed a bit much at times, and many fans couldn’t believe that it was a real house decoration.

Here are some examples of what Pawn Stars fans had to say about Rick’s home.

  • “Rick’s house is the gaudiest thing I’ve ever seen.”
  • “Rick’s house looks like it should be in a Dr. Seuss book.”

Some fans didn’t believe Rick had cooked anything for the dinner party in the book. They assumed he hired someone to do it for him, but from the look of it, Rick did this based on his love for Salvador Dali.

Of course, with Pawn Stars, fans love to throw shade at everyone on the show, so this is nothing news. Many fans feel that Corey Harrison doesn’t care about this job and is just there for the paycheck. Other fans hate Chumlee because he likes to have fun and isn’t serious at work. However, this all makes the show so fun.
