‘Welcome To Plathville’ Kim Plath & Ken Palmer Update
Welcome to Plathville star Kim Plath moved off the farm, into Cairo, and left Barry Plath for Ken Palmer, but are they still together in 2024? The TLC show airs after filming, so although fans see the couple together on TV, it’s not always clear if things changed.
Kim Plath Hooked Up With Isaac’s Flight Instructor
Not many TLC fans were impressed with Ken Palmer when sleuths started hunting down some facts on social media. For a start, he posted some memes that were not the type of thing a lot of people agreed with. He’d mocked certain black tribespeople, folks of other faiths, and the LGBTQ+ community. Perhaps that explains why he hardly ever uses his Facebook account these days.
11 months after Kim left Barry Plath, fans thought she moved in with Ken. He owns a nice home in Florida that reportedly has a value of about $609,000. However, in Season 6 of the show, Kim claims that she doesn’t live with him because she wants to experience life on her own. However, it might also have a lot to do with her bid for custody of the younger children. She now has a boat that they can live on.

Welcome To Plathville Star Still With Ken?
It isn’t easy to find out much about Ken and Barry Plath’s ex. His Instagram is private and he stopped using his Facebook. Meanwhile, Kim isn’t on Instagram. But, she does have an account on Facebook under the name of Shannon Rose. There, she shares about Isaac Plath, Moriah, and the other kids. But, the last time she shared about Ken Plamer came on April 1.
When TLC shared a teaser for Welcome to Plathville this week, fans of the show wondered if the couple still dated. That’s because the admin of the TLC account wrote:
Kim is loving the single life ⛵️💗.
O(f course, that made Welcome to Plathville fans question where Ken Palmer was. But, most of them seem to think that they are still together. Here are some observations:
- …Kim still has Ken as her boyfriend. She said she didn’t want to move in with him when he asked as she didn’t want to live with someone right away after leaving a long term relationship. and wanted to explore living on her own so they are still together. Kim moved to Florida to be closer to Ken. The 3 younger girls live between Kim and Barry.
- I have to watch this to get the back story! I’ve never seen this. She seems like a real winner 😮
- Don’t really care for this season with Kim‘s mess still going on. She is a jumbled mess because she doesn’t even know what she wants. Sounds like more of a midlife crisis than it does needing to be divorced.
