Looks Like There Will Be Three Curious Caterer Mysteries Greenlit
Sleuthers who love Hallmark’s Curious Caterer Mysteries appear to have better news on the horizon. Just a few days ago, the network announced the fifth movie in the series. This is called Drumstick Drama. Best of all, the original five stars are back.
This includes Nikki DeLoach, as Goldy Berry, her favorite character name. Next, Andrew W. Walker portrays Detective Tom Schultz. Also returning is Hallmark regular supporting man, Lochlyn Munro as Dr. Richard Korman, Goldy’s ex. Mystery fans love Jaycie Doitin, who plays Marla Maguire, and she is returning. Nikki has previously hinted there will be a lot of her in this movie. Lastly, Riley Davis is returning as Detective Mason Kildea. He just recently appeared on Chris McNally and Holland Roden’s new movie, Tipline Mysteries as Ethan, and on Fire Country as Troy Elliot. David Winning (Unleashing Mr. Darcy) is the director.
However, Heavy reports two additional movies that are being greenlit. Although Hallmark Mystery has not made an announcement of any kind, they revealed that the names of the sixth and seventh movies are Tough Cookie and Prime Cut.
What do we know about these mysteries?
What Is Hallmark’s New Curious Caterer Movie Drumstick Drama About?
Firstly, Hallmark Mystery has shared the synopsis for Curious Caterer: Drumstick Drama. In this movie, Tom and Goldy finally plan to go on a date. They are going to a concert together. However, an App snafu finds Goldy double booked for that very same show.
However, any chance of romance is squashed as the lead singer unexpectedly dies on stage. Now, it is a murder investigation.
Although Hallmark Mystery has not announced a premiere date, the news is that this will movie will premiere this Fall, before Countdown To Christmas kicks in.
What Are The Two Unannounced Curious Caterer Mysteries About?
Next, is Curious Caterer: Tough Cookie. Although there is no information on when it will go into production, let alone air, Leading Distribution Partners has it listed on their site. They are in a partnership with Timeless Pictures and Howard Braunstein who are behind this hit series.
The synopsis of this movie looks fun. Goldy is given a “temporary stint hosting a cooking show.” This is great for her pocketbook, and it will give her business some free media. However, in true Goldy Berry fashion, chaos ensues, and someone there dies. Detective Tom Schultz comes in to solve this case. But, it looks like there is a cornucopia of cases he needs to solve. Moreover, Goldy still needs to film this cooking show and get that paycheck!
Lastly is Curious Caterer: Prime Cut. Goldy is dealing with a multitude of business problems. She has a competitor who is taking her business. Add to that, an unscrupulous contractor messed up her kitchen remodel. But things look up when Goldy is considered for a job at the “prestigious fashion show taking place at Elk Park Museum.”
But, it is not all sunshine and roses. That rival caterer is doing everything they can to get that job instead of her. Worse yet, the contractor is found dead at the museum director’s house! Goldy and Tom have to investigate a multitude of contractor issues, as well as more mysteries.
Hopefully, Hallmark Mystery will announce these additional two mysteries soon. Sleuthers, are you ready for many more Curious Caterer Mysteries?
