Joey Graziadei is close to his family, especially his sisters, Carly Monzo and Ellie Graziadei. In fact, he was living with Carly before and after filming The Bachelor. He’s since moved in with his fiance, Kelsey Anderson, in New Orleans.
His sisters were recent guests on the Almost Famous podcast. They broke down when they realized their brother was in love with Kelsey. They told hosts Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti that they knew Joey would propose to Kelsey before even meeting her.
It all went down when they were in Mexico meeting Daisy and Kelsey ahead of the proposal. According to Joey’s sisters, the way he talked about Kelsey versus the way he talked about Daisy told them immediately that he was in love with Kelsey.
“We looked at each other and [said,] ‘It’s Kelsey.’ Like, we knew before meeting them just how he talked about her.”
His older sister, Carly, shared that the realization caused her to be more harsh with Daisy, trying to find something about her that Joey might be missing. Rumors swirled after the finale that Joey’s family didn’t approve of Kelsey.
Did Everyone Know Before Kelsey?
Throughout Season 28, Joey Graziadei formed connections with several different women. His steamy interactions with Maria Georgas had some fans thinking she was his future wife. Even Daisy Kent knew that Joey had strong feelings for Kelsey and bowed out. But did Kelsey know about Joey’s feelings?
She did write a note telling him that they needed to talk. But most viewers agree that was a plotline created and driven by the production, who are once again accused of interference on the latest Bachelorette season.
If you want to rewatch Joey and Kelsey’s love story or watch for the first time, you’ll have to shell out some cash. The entire season is available to purchase on Amazon but it doesn’t seem to be streaming for free anywhere.
The Bachelor Nation franchise shows do air on Hulu the day after airing on ABC, however, the seasons don’t stay up long after the season is over. The only Bachelor seasons available on Hulu in July 2024 are Season 25 with Matt James, Clayton Echard’s season and Peter Weber’s dramatic Season 24.
