‘Celebrations With Lacey Chabert’ Will Show Hallmark+ Star Pivot
At the TCA Summer 2024, the feel-good network announced the rebranding of their HMN streaming channel to Hallmark+. Moreover, they also announced that the new reality series Celebrations With Lacey Chabert would be premiering along with the rebrand.
Although the reality series “with heart” will not premiere until mid-September, the Christmas Waltz star is already talking about it. That includes whose idea this was, and how sometimes things don’t exactly go as planned. Therefore, the Hallmark Christmas Queen has also shared how they pivoted to make it work.
Hallmark Star Has Been Dreaming Of Making Celebrations With Lacey Chabert
Lacey Chabert has been very busy in 2024. She is starring in two Hallmark movies, His & Hers, with Brennan Elliott, and The Christmas Quest with Kristoffer Polaha. She is also starring in her first Netflix movie Hot Frosty this holiday season. However, her biggest pivot is her first reality series, Celebrations With Lacey Chabert.
Speaking to First For Women, Lacey shared that she had this idea brewing for years. “I have had this show that I’ve always wanted to do, throwing parties for children [and adults] who make an impact on the lives of people in their communities.”
This show celebrates real-life heroes who don’t often get the spotlight, and it does it with a surprise party.
Next, the Hallmark+ star revealed what she loves most about this 10-episode series. “My favorite moment is when they walk into the party, look around, see all of their loved ones and coworkers..and then realize that they’re the one who’s being celebrated.”

Lacey Chabert came to this new Hallmark+ series with her own DIY party-planning skills. However, she did call in experts to make sure each party was customized for the special recipient. However, this series will show how they need to pivot should anything go awry.
While she did reveal that there are no “major disasters” in Celebrations With Lacey Chabert, they do face obstacles and need to pivot. Some of those obstacles included “a game-changing windstorm, lost venues,” and other “hurdles” that naturally come with party planning.
Lacey admits, “There are moments where we had to think on our feet and pivot quickly. But at the end of the day, it’s all about the heart and celebrating someone who deserves it, so we always figure out a way to make it work.”
Therefore, she recommends a Plan B and people who can execute on a dime. “You really have an incredible team who’s ready to brainstorm and come up with a backup plan.” She also revealed, “I learned a lot from that.”
