‘Dance Moms’ Christi Lukasiak Charged With DUI After Car Crash
Former Dance Moms star Christi Lukasiak is in a lot of hot water at the moment. News outlets reported that authorities in Pennsylvania charged Christi with a DUI after a recent car crash.

Dance Moms Fans Are Stunned Over Christi Lukasiak’s DUI Charge
Although Dance Moms saw many mother/daughter duos come and go over the years, the Lukasiaks definitely left their mark on the show. Christi Lukasiak was more than happy to stand up to Abby Lee Miller when necessary. On top of that, Christi’s daughter Chloe was one of the most popular dancers with viewers.
But sadly, things might not have been so glamorous for the family in real life.
According to several news outlets, Christi Lukasiak was in a drunk driving accident this summer.
TMZ reports they have a copy of the police report. Authorities apprehended Christi Lukasiak after she crashed her car into a tree in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The crash took place on June 27, 2024, and reportedly also damaged a telephone pole.
“Cops say she exhibited all the classic DUI signs … bloodshot and glassy eyes, slurred speech and the officer on the scene reported the smell of alcohol on Christi’s breath,” TMZ writes.
On the show, Christi and Kelly Hyland were often known for their love of wine. But even so, this wasn’t necessarily something anyone saw coming.

Police reports also indicate that the Dance Moms star said she had two glasses of wine before driving. The police gave her a preliminary breath test, which indicated she had been indeed drinking. Standard field sobriety tests indicated Christi was intoxicated and couldn’t safely operate a vehicle.

So far, Christi’s family hasn’t publicly said anything about the DUI charge. And thankfully, Chloe Lukasiak seems to be remarkably successful, despite these familial challenges. Today, the former child star is 23 years old and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Pepperdine University.
