Grammy-nominated artist Ingrid Andress has horrified fans for possibly belting out the worst National Anthem ever. It was an honor for her to sing the Star Spangled Banner on Monday, July 15th and she was more than ready. There have been some horrific performances of the National Anthem and fans know them well. Fergie was lambasted for her performance at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game. Fans were shocked that her singing made a mockery of the iconic song. She went down in flames for her horrid performance but someone new has come in and taken the cake from Miss Fergalicious. Ingrid Andress is known in the country music world and has already landed four Grammy nominations.
The thirty-two-year-old has also amassed songwriting credits for working with the best of the best in the industry. She has collaborated with the likes of Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha so she definitely has star power. It does make sense why she was chosen to sing the National Anthem at the Monday, July 15th MLB Home Run Derby. Unfortunately, her off voice was all people could talk about. Even the players could not keep a straight face so cameras had to be creative and dodge them. Take a look at the performance and judge for yourself.

Immediately, the comments came in about Ingrid Andress’ poor performance and they did not stop. MLB fans wondered how she even got nominated for four Grammys with that voice:
- My question is how tf did she get nominated for a Grammy 4x because that was painful to watch and listen too
- Rendition? You mean… totally out of range, horrible singing? lol I mean, she isn’t some amateur singer singing at a local game, but a 4-time Grammy nominee. This is the problem I have with music today, anybody can sound good in an album that’s completely autotuned in a studio.
- She’s famous? I would’ve guessed they picked a random drunk girl from the crowd
