90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Brings New Couples
While TLC fans were less than keen to see more of Statler Riley and Dempsey Wilkinson, they did seem interested in the new couples. They include Josh and Lilly. She’s in China. Then, there are couples from Ireland, Turkey, and Iceland. So, there seems to be some diversity that might hold the attention of fans.
The closest 90 Day Fiance fans got to China in the past involved Johnny Chao who arrived in America to be with Ella Johnson. He visited the USA, but he had to return to China. In fact, TLC Fans accused her of having an Asian fetish, much like Deavan Clegg with Jihoon Lee.

Lilly Spends All Her Money On Josh
Josh and Lilly met via a language App and he wanted to move to China to be with her. He sold his house and stayed with his parents before flying out. Along the way, he feared that he might not get by because of his lack of Chinese. In a teaser shared by Extra TV, he was surprised to find out that all, the signs were in English and Chinese. So, he felt happier about being there.
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans also learned in the teaser that Lilly maxed out her credit cards. Not only are there likely to be cultural issues, but monetary differences might also hurt the TLC couple. She renovated her home, especially for Josh.
In the preview, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star, Lilly explained how she splurged on her man from South Carolina. She said:
The house turned out exactly as I wanted. The renovations cost me a lot of money. I couldn’t tell Josh about all these expenses. He always tells me that he’s broke. So I didn’t want to stress him out. I hope he realizes everything I do is for him for the true start of our new life.”
Additionally, the TLC star admitted that she maxed out her credit cards that month. In total, she spent a lot of cash, that’s not to laugh at. It amounted to a staggering $562,020.
