News about the upcoming season of Big Brother has been circulating. While the cast of BB26 is still unknown, there have been mentions of the houseguests moving in early and live feeds being delayed. Now, a former Big Brother cast member has shared his thoughts about the changes being made to the show. Keep reading to find out what you can expect during Season 26.

Former Big Brother Cast Member Weighs In On Delayed Live Feeds

It has been confirmed that houseguests will be moving into the Big Brother house before the season premiere on July 17. Having them move in the day before will help producers pre-record content and have more control over editing the premiere. The BB26 premiere will also air over two nights, with the second half airing on July 18.

This has many people wondering if the live feeds for the season will be delayed. After all, the cast will begin playing the game as soon as they set foot in the house on July 16. There are rumors that live feeds might not be available to the public until late July 18.

Cory Wurtenberger, a cast member from Big Brother 25, shared his thoughts about a possible taped move-in and delayed live feeds. Fans might remember Cory’s romance with America Lopez throughout the last season of Big Brother. He finished in eighth place and has a strong opinion about the rumored changes on the show.

“Seeing some bat***t tweets today,” the former BB star wrote on X. “Live premieres are usually super awkward to watch, but sacrificing night one (and potentially more) feeds is catastrophic. You’d have missed the entire reason Kirsten was targeted along with the foundations of so many alliances on 25.”

In his tweet, he referred to another BB25 cast member Kirsten Elwin who went really hard in the early days of the game. She was the first person to be voted out in Season 25.

Is A Cleaned-Up Premiere Worth Missing Out On Early Action In The Feeds?

If the feeds are turned off over the first couple of days the cast is in the house, the producers will get to pick and choose what airs. For instance, during BB21 there was a brief romance between Kat Dunn and Jackson Michie that viewers never got to see. They’d already parted ways when the feeds were turned on that season.

While a more edited and cleaned-up premiere would be more enjoyable to watch, it could cost fans an early glimpse at the live feeds.
