Shannon initially struggled following Dr. Now’s diet program. The My 600-lb Life star only lost 80 pounds, which wasn’t enough for her to qualify for bariatric surgery. According to the bariatric surgeon, she needed to lose at least 150 lbs to proceed with the operation. She parted ways with Dr. Now with her surgery in question. Her last reported weight was around 650 lbs. But despite her early departure, Shannon has become more conscious of her health. She kept in touch with the fans behind the cameras, and she’s doing much better today.

Shannon has been documenting her weight loss journey on YouTube. Many of her videos are about her workout sessions at the gym. Last month, the My 600-lb Life star impressed the viewers with her dedication to reaching her physical goals. She did kettlebell lifts, arm lever pulls, and stretchy band exercises while in her motorized wheelchair. Shannon Lowery has yet to share her current weight. But she revealed in her latest vlog that a doctor monitors her blood.
