Erin Krakow Shares Update On WCTH Star Mamie Laverock
WCTH fans around the world are concerned about one of the stars of their favorite series, Mamie Laverock. On Wednesday, Erin Krakow updated fans on this young star’s condition. Speaking exclusively to Page Six, Erin Krakow, who has been in New York with Kevin McGarry promoting the Elizabeth and Nathan romance, shared an update on Mamie. She revealed that they have been ‘in touch.” Here is what she said.
“Thank you so much for asking; we’ve been in touch and we are wishing her all the best. She’s such a great girl and I hope it’s just the speediest recovery.” Then she added, “But we’re going to offer her family some privacy.”
‘Outpouring Of Love’ From Hearties Around The World
In addition to sharing the update on the 19-year-old WCTH star, Erin Krakow shared her appreciation of the “outpouring of love” from Hearties for Mamie Laverock. “It’s amazing.” She added, “It really is, thank you.”
Back on May 11, Mamie’s mother Nicole Rockmann had posted on a GoFundMe about Mamie’s “medical emergency.” They were asking for money to help bring Mamie from Winnipeg to Vancouver to receive medical care.
However, things took a shocking turn a couple of weeks later. That is when the family revealed that Mamie fell from a five-story balcony at the Vancouver area. Her body was “shattered” and she went on life support.
One update shared, “She is enduring tremendous pain. She has undergone two 11 hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three hour surgery and another surgery.”
Furthermore, the family intends to take legal action. That is because she had been in a secure area before this unexplained move and subsequent tragic fall.
Thankfully, the most recent update reports that she is “showing signs of improvement” and that she is “doing well.” However, whether she will get a full recovery is still “unclear.” There are many unknown factors.
Last week, her family posted on Facebook a photo of her Mamie from her hospital bed. It was of her hand resting on a teddy bear. An IV is shown.
WCTH Season 11 airs on Sunday nights at 9 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. The full series that includes Mamie is available to stream on Hallmark Movies Now.
