Per Forbes, the talented star is now worth $340 million.

Now that Katy Perry left American Idol, she hasn’t been idling around for too long. In fact, on Friday, she added more millions to her stunning net worth after being selected to headline a private performance overseas. It was part of a pre-wedding function, and her client has the biggest wallet in Asia.

The Sun reported about the costly gig for the American Idol judge, and it went down in “Cannes in the South of France.” The article noted that she “will bank millions as she jets to sing at the wedding of the richest man in Asia.” The pre-wedding festivities already started back in March, although the actual ceremony won’t happen until July. In the meantime, a source told the outlet:

They have invited 800 guests who are currently on a space-themed cruise around Europe, with stops in Barcelona and Genoa.

Who are the people who can afford to entertain 800 people and pay Katy Perry millions for a single performance? Well, it turned out that Mukesh Ambani, who happens to be the wealthiest man in Asia has a son named Anant Ambani. And, he’s engaged to be married to Radhika Merchant.
