Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott’s Divorce

After almost a year of being separated from Dean McDermott, Tori Spelling finally filed for divorce. The legal documents were filed on March 29, 2024. Ironically, that day was also “Good Friday.” Tori Spelling, in the divorce paperwork, said “irreconcilable differences” was the reason she filed for the divorce.

The misSpelling Podcast

Tori Spelling has started her own podcast, misSpelling. It was during the premiere of misSpelling, she decided to make a huge announcement to Dean McDermott. It was during her first-ever podcast that Tori Spelling called her estranged husband and told him she had filed for divorce.

Dean McDermott’s voice was not heard during the podcast. Listeners were only privy to the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star’s side of the conversation. Despite this, Tori Spelling is being criticized for the way she chose to inform Dean McDermott she had made the choice to end their marriage of 18 years.

All The Criticism

The comments being made to Tori Spelling are not in the least bit kind. She is getting comments that are rude and judgmental. No one seems to care this is a difficult time for her and she is doing the best she can under the circumstances.

“How much attention does one person need? I hope decades from now this idea of living for public consumption is studied. Tori is a perfect example of endless thirst. It’s equal parts fascinating and annoying,” someone using the name “Bitter Melon” commented.

Some commenters made the choice to not only criticize Tori Spelling, but to include her five children. “You should have left before you had all those children. Who do not deserve to suffer because their parents aren’t very smart,” one comment read. Another stated “Alone? Luckily she’s got all those children. Maybe if she stops thirsting and starts eating, she’ll run into them in the kitchen.”

Another commented with “I’m just so thankful she was able to mine her divorce for some content 🙏 I was worried she was going to go about it with some dignity and grace.”
Tell us what you think. What do you think of Tori Spelling telling Dean McDermott about filing for divorce during her misSpelling podcast? Should people have brought up her children in their comments? Sound off in the comment section below.
