Hannah Godwin Spills Tea On ‘Bachelor’ Overseas Trips
Every season of the Bachelor franchise features an overseas trip or two. Have you ever wondered what goes down on the hours-long plane ride? Alum Hannah Godwin spills the tea of the travel arrangements. Keep reading for all the surprising details.
Hannah Godwin Spills Tea On Bachelor Overseas Trips
You’ve probably watched the Bachelor contestants jet-set to romantic destinations and wondered if it’s all champagne and roses behind the scenes. Well, buckle up. Hannah’s dishing out the deets, and it’s not all picture-perfect sunsets and candlelit dinners. What did she reveal in her TikTok video?
First things first, let’s talk about the packing situation. With all the exotic locations they’re visiting, you’d think these contestants would have suitcases bursting at the seams. But here’s the kicker: they’re given strict baggage limits—two suitcases and a carry-on.
That’s right. While it looks like they have an endless supply of glamorous outfits, they’ve got to be super selective with their wardrobes.
Interesting Plane Seating Arrangements
Now, onto the flights. If you’re picturing first-class luxury with all the legroom in the world, think again. Contestants are often crammed into economy seats, enduring long-haul flights just like the rest of us.
According to Hannah, the contestants get on the plane first and are seated in the back. Trying to steal a moment alone with the Bachelor? Good luck. The lead sits up front with the host.
The contestants weren’t allowed to bring books or their phones to keep busy during long flights. However, they were allowed to watch movies and chat with other contestants. But they were encouraged not to bring up any drama since the cameras weren’t rolling during the flights.
What Happens Once They Arrive At Destination
Once they land in these beautiful destinations, you’d expect them to have some time to kick back and relax, right? Nope! The Season 23 contestant revealed that it’s a mad rush once they reach the hotel to choose their bed.
Meal times do sound great, though. She shared that “All meals were catered, unless you were on a date.” Sometimes the contestants were allowed to go and do a “cool activity” when they weren’t filming dates.
@hannahg11 #stitch with @emme honestly the travel days were where we made sooo many mems lol
Hannah did add that the franchise may have changed since her time on the show.
