Maria Georgas Addresses Emotions, Almost Leaving Joey
Bachelor fan favorite Maria Georgas had a rough night on Monday’s episode. It was getting to her about Joey Graziadei dating other people. It bothered her so much that she almost self-eliminated. However, she didn’t end up leaving and even secured herself a rose guaranteeing her a hometown date. Now, she is addressing what happened that night. What did she say? Keep reading to find out more.
Maria Georgas Gets Real About Emotions
Maria Georgas has had a lot of airtime on this season of The Bachelor. At first, she was getting called out for a wardrobe change in the middle of a date. Next, she was stuck in the middle of drama involving Sydney Gordon and Lea Cayanan.
Now that she is finally past all that and is still vying for Joey Graziadei’s heart, she almost gives up and walks away. After the show, Maria went to X to share her real feelings about all her emotions.
In her first tweet, Maria said, “At the end of the day I didn’t treat this as a reality tv show. I’m very self-aware and knew the consequences of my actions but my honesty about where I was at mentally and expressing my feelings in the moment meant more to me than a rose. These are REAL moments for all of us.”
Maria continued her feelings in another tweet. She said that good relationships have ups and downs. However, she feels it’s how a couple navigates the hard times together. Nobody is perfect and she realizes she could work on her delivery of what she was trying to express. But, Maria said Joey “isn’t the only one who should feel chosen to feel good it goes both ways. And I stand by that.”
She had no ulterior motive
Maria Georgas continued on X saying that she wasn’t trying to manipulate anyone. She also said there was no ulterior motive. Maria shared it was just her being herself. She gets in her head, gets jealous and feels too many things at once.
She said, “I am too honest for my own good and a little nuts at times so it all becomes overwhelming. I rest my case. Take it or leave it.”
