“My injury just ended up being a bad sprain, but I understand why the medic made the call he made even though it’s still all feels very unfair. I never actually went to the medic. He came to our barracks to check on some people with hypothermia and I asked him for some tape and ibuprofen and that’s when he looked at my hand and told me to come to his office. I just wanted advil!”

Ali went on to say that even the DS and the producers wanted her to be able to choose if she wanted to continue or not the medic made the call. Once the medic decides something there is no going back.
