‘Golden Bachelorette’ Announced, ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Canceled?
This weekend, ABC shocked fans when they made the official announcement that The Golden Bachelorette will happen. However, now fans are wondering what this means for the future of Bachelor in Paradise. Will fans of the show see it return for Season 10 or is ABC canceling the spinoff? Keep reading to find out more.
Will Bachelor in Paradise be canceled?
On Saturday ABC announced that The Golden Bachelorette is really happening. The lead remains unknown and everyone is already speculating who producers may choose.
Aside from knowing the spinoff will air this fall, nobody knows details about this highly anticipated show. ABC also confirmed The Bachelorette will return once again. With these two shows being confirmed, fans are wondering what is happening with Bachelor in Paradise.
Rumors have been flying that the show could be canceled or at the very least postponed for a year. Even former host Chris Harrison said, “I was a little bummed to hear that Paradise has allegedly been postponed. I think is the official way they’re saying it is. They’re postponing it for a year or canceling it.” Dean Bell formerly Dean Unglert replied replied, “I did hear some whispers about that.”
Reality Steve also noted that he had heard it could possibly be postponed or canceled.
However, nothing has been confirmed by ABC. Plus, Season 9 last year was not confirmed until in May and filming began in June. So, there is still time for the network to renew it.
It’s also a possibility it will return since The Bachelorette will air in its normal time frame and The Golden Bachelorette will not air until fall. Time will tell what ABC will decide to do with BIP.
