Rodrigo Reyes is one of the more docile Southern Charm cast members. He has manners and a long-term relationship, clearly the antithesis of his co-stars. The one comment he made at the reunion was how he wished they had told him how bad his hair looked all season. Therefore, it shows he knows how to poke fun at himself. Yet, it appears that there is a whole other side to Rodrigo that no one, especially the fans, ever saw coming. Texts he exchanged were released and he said some very vile things about co-star, Olivia Flowers.
A Reddit thread was started to discuss the messages he exchanged. Apparently, someone told Rodrigo to rethink how angry he was during the reunion. He started going back and forth with this person who said that he was “full of hate.” They also pointed out how “sad” he was but Rodrigo made sure to call this person the C-word. However, it was not just that he used this word on her but compared her to Olivia in this transaction.
This was extremely distasteful and vile not to just call Olivia this word but a follower as well. It showed a whole other side to him. Yes, fans have been calling Olivia out for playing the victim to which Madison LeCroy had to defend her but this was next level. So, what did fellow Redditors say?

Southern Charm fans were not so shocked about this as they saw how Rodrigo Reyes defended Olivia Flowers at the reunion. More so, they also cited how Austen Kroll called Rodrigo out at the beginning of Season 9. So, it seems that the whole cast has their own issues and is plagued with problems. Still, it is a very popular show but it will be interesting to see if Rodrigo will be asked back next season.
