‘DWTS’ 2024 Tour Already Down A Pro Before It Starts
When Dancing With The Stars ends for the season, the pro dancers start rehearsals for the tour right away. However, it seems like the show is already missing a pro ahead of the tour’s start.
What exactly happened? Will the dancer permanently pull out of the tour, or is it only temporary? Keep reading to see what TV Shows Ace discovered.
One DWTS pro is dealing with foot injuries at the moment
Dancing With The Stars Season 32 just came to a close. There were a lot of exciting “firsts” this year, including the first finale to have five couples and the first finale to have a married couple competing.
Fans are excited to catch the pros on the 2024 tour. But for the first month, one pro has had to take a step back.
As TV Shows Ace previously shared, Daniella Karagach is dealing with foot injuries. Sadly, she can’t perform at the January shows.
“Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you a little update. As you have probably seen, I’m injured,” Daniella captioned a post on her Instagram stories. “I’m so excited for this tour and want to make sure I give it my all every time I dance on stage.”
“In order to do that, I have to heal properly before going on the road. I will unfortunately be missing the first month of tour. While I’m healing, the absolutely incredible @alexis_warr will be there in my place,” she continued. “I’ll be joining the @dwtstourofficial tour starting in early February! I’m so excited to come out and dance gain. Can’t wait to see you all there.”
Alexis Warr is the current reigning So You Think You Can Dance champion and has been on tour with the DWTS pros before. She also filled in for Daniella during Season 31 when she caught COVID-19 and couldn’t perform.
Daniella hasn’t said what she will do for the time being. But it’s probably likely she will still be on tour with the rest of the cast. The Season 30 just can’t actually perform until February.
Before Daniella’s injury, she and Pasha announced that they would take baby Nikita on the road with them. At the very least, this will give Daniella a little extra time with her daughter.
The show must go on
Sadly, disruptions like these aren’t that uncommon with the Dancing With The Stars tour. A few years ago, Artem Chigvintsev contracted a serious illness and missed several tour dates. And two years ago, Daniella broke her ankle during a performance and had to leave the tour early.
Hopefully, Daniella’s feet will heal well and she can continue performing in February. Will you catch the tour? Leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments.
