Daniella Karagach Reveals Painful Injuries Ahead Of ‘DWTS’ Tour
Dancing With The Stars Season 30 champion Daniella Karagach is dealing with a very painful injury at the moment. While she is no stranger to dance-related injuries, fans remain concerned about her condition.
Daniella hasn’t shared many details about the injuries yet, but it could very well inhibit her participation in the tour this year. What’s going on?
Daniella Karagach suffered ankle injuries performing on DWTS
Injuries generally aren’t uncommon on Dancing With The Stars. The show takes a lot of physical endurance and skill. And sometimes, the dancers sustain injuries.
Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix stated how much her feet bothered her after rehearsals this season. But even the pro dancers aren’t immune from injuries.
So what’s going on with Daniella?
Shortly after the season finale, Daniella Karagach revealed that she sustained ankle injuries during the season and needed medical attention. She shared a photo of her feet in medical boots and added that she needed an MRI for her injured feet.
“This season was craaaaazzzyyyyyy when it came to injuries. I heard when breastfeeding your hormones are out of wack and you are more susceptible to injury,” the first time mom wrote on her Instagram stories. “From spraining my ankle week 5 to dislocating my thumb last week and also flaring up my ankles it was a gnarly season for me. I’m super grateful to the Dr’s who saw me and to DWTS for always making sure I was always taken care of.”
Right now, it seems that Daniella is well enough to be on tour. However, the extent of her participation seems to be determined. She also recently uploaded photos of rehearsals to her Instagram story. Sadly, her posts indicated that she had to sit out.
In recent Instagram story posts, Daniella promised fans she would give an update about her ankle injuries shortly. For the time being, her followers wish her well and hope she makes a full recovery.
The Season 30 champion is very familiar with ankle injuries
This isn’t the first time during her time with DWTS that Daniella Karagach has dealt with performance-inhibiting injuries. During the 2022 tour, she broke her ankle and had to sit out the remainder of the performances. Thankfully, she healed over the summer and was back in the ballroom for Season 31.
Right now, Daniella hasn’t shared the extent of her injuries with fans. But it does appear that she and her husband Pasha Pashkov still intend on going on tour. Photos from the rehearsal room reveal Pasha performing with the other dancers, even if Daniella can’t at the moment.
