Bravo Fans Freak Over New ‘RHUGT’ Legacy Preview Trailer
Bravo fans are freaking out over the new RHUGT RHONY Legacy preview trailer which dropped this past weekend at BravoCon. Additionally, the premiere date was shared which has been long-awaited since the show was announced. Read on for reactions, the preview, and to find out when it will be released.
Bravo Fans Freak Over New RHUGT Legacy Preview Trailer
When it was announced that RHONY was getting a reboot, there were two ways it was going. Bravo had said they may have a whole new cast as well as a show with the OGs. In the end, it became a mess trying to get all of the original cast together so they came up with a solution. Get a whole bunch of new girls for Season 14 and do a RHUGT with the OGs. Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Dorinda Medley, and Kristen Taekman all signed on. Of course, diehard fans had some cast members they would rather have seen.
Off the ladies went to St. Barts where they vacationed in Season 5 circa Luann and the Pirate. There was drama before it even began as Ramona claimed she did not know who Kristen was. Fans may remember they went at it in Season 6 and Kristen shared they have hung out since she departed the series. Due to the popularity of the RHONY reboot, Legacy was bumped up and will have a December 14th start date. Now that the trailer has dropped, a Reddit thread was immediately started.

First off, fans could not believe that Sonja Googled Kristen Taekman’s husband’s indiscretions. They seem perfectly happy now and have worked through their issues. It is unclear what caused Taekman to point out that the women were all divorced. Another added: “Kelly Bensimon boldly claiming she is normal is the level of delusion I’ve needed.” One noted: “I feel fed, and that’s just from the trailer. Cannot wait!”
Wait, There’s More
Some fans saw the preview for the RHUGT and felt nostalgic for the classic trips that the housewives went on. That made them even more excited for the show to start. They seemed to miss different cast members but it is questionable how they will handle Ramona Singer. She was removed from BravoCon and fired from her job due to a racist remark. So, she cannot really do much promotion for the series. Interestingly enough, this trip was the fifth one filmed. However, the RHONY popularity pushed the fourth one, in Morocco, back to next year.
