Lisa Vanderpump Accused Of Not Settling Pump Lawsuit
Lisa Vanderpump faced so many lawsuits that it’s hard for Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules fans to keep up. In January 2020 the news arrived that the Bravo star was sued in a class action by a former employee. At the time, she and Todd owned four restaurants in the L.A. area, namely SUR, Villa Blanca, Tom Tom, and Pump. Others followed and now, she’s been accused of not settling one of them relating to Pump.
Lisa Vanderpump’s Many Lawsuits
The former cast member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was sued when Adam Pierce Antoine filed a class action claim. It asserted that she failed to follow labor laws and fiddled with their overtime among others. Then in February 2020, the news arrived that Her dog foundation, Vanderpump Dogs, faced accusations of inappropriate behavior towards employees.
In August of the same year, news arrived that the Bravo star faced another lawsuit from disgruntled employees at SUR. It shouldn’t be confused with Adam Pierce Antoine’s lawsuit. The new lawsuit was filed by Olivia Beverly Hanson, and similar claims about overtime and labor laws arrived. Actually, Olivia only worked there for about three months before filing. At the time, the previous lawsuit was still in progress.

Lisa Vanderpump Found Some Support, More Bad News
The VPR star found some support when Olivia’s lawsuit arrived. It was Danica Dow, a SUR employee who stood up in support of her boss. So did James Kennedy and his then-girlfriend Raquel Leviss. They dissed the newcomer’s claims about bad labor practices. Actually, it is not clear which claim involves allegations of non-payment. But there was more bad news in store for the Bravo star.
In August this year, the news emerged that the owner of the property where Pump was located sued Ken Todd and Lisa Vanderpump. Although the restaurant closed in July, the owner had unresolved issues and wanted nearly a million dollars. Now, the news about the non-payment of a lawsuit arrived via The Sun, The outlet noted that the employee’s lawsuit from August 2020 was resurrected by Ernest R. Bennick in October this year.
Vanderpump Rules Stars’ Refusal To Settle Lawsuit?
Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd, according to the new report, “have been accused of refusing to pay the $490K settlement by an ex-Pump employee.” The outlet explained, “The plaintiff argues that Ken and Lisa are lying about claims that Pump has ‘no assets’ after closing in July.” As nothing has been settled yet, in October this year, the complainants “filed a motion… for preliminary approval of the gross settlement amount of $490,000.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star allegedly claimed that Pump has no assets left. But, the plaintiff slammed that as being “self-serving” and “fake.” Bear in mind that Pump is reportedly re-opening in another location. And, some employees will keep their jobs. The legal team wants payment after Ken boasted that he is a “multimillionaire individual…who can clearly pay to fund the Settlement.” However, neither of them “wants to” make the payment.
The outlet noted that court documents reveal that if payment fails, they might face further lawsuits.
