North West Dishes Kim Kardashian Some Humility

In many ways, Kim Kardashian wants her daughter, North West, to like her and give her the validation she seeks. The latest episode of The Kardashians is no different. Unfortunately, that isn’t usually the case. Furthermore, it isn’t uncommon for North to disrespect her mom.

Kim Kardashian Has Her Work Cut Out For Her

Early in Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, seemingly on better terms, discuss raising their children. All of the Kardashians receive tons of backlash for their parenting choices. Unquestionably, fans show concern for the way North West in particular talks to her mom. Admittedly, insiders say North owns the house. But during Kourtney and Kim’s discussion, Kourtney says the kids just want quality time with Kim. They discuss how North prefers living with Kanye West. Later, Kim says, “Kourtney [Kardashian] says North is my lesson on this planet.” Elaborating that, “It means that I’m supposed to learn even more patience.” Admittedly, she says, “She teaches me patience. She has taught me a lot about life.”

North Dishes Kim Some Humility

While Kim Kardashian and her daughter, North West, are spending some much-desired quality time, North makes a humbling remark to her mom. However, it may have been an unintentional diss, but it was still cutting. During the episode of The Kardashians, Kim reveals she likes to discuss her work with North. Making it known, that she wants to include her daughter in the important work she does and give her knowledge of the criminal justice system. In the interview scene, she discusses she will visit Pelican Bay State Prison, which is on the North Coast of California.

“Anytime I can talk to her [North] about what I do and why I do it, it’s really important to me,” Kim Kardashian tells the cameras. Then you see Kim talking with North, saying, “Northie, I’m going to a prison soon.” At the time, the two are shown relaxing at home and making fried chicken. But, North’s response is blankly staring at Kim while devouring a raw onion like an apple. Bridging the conversation, you hear an off-camera producer ask North what she thinks about her mom’s work. Dottingly, Kim smiles at North awaiting her reply. But, North just continues munching on her onion. She focuses on her food and doesn’t seem to care much, nonchalantly asking, “What does she [Kim] do?”

Fans Are Eating It Up

While a bit painful to see North West pop Kim Kardashian’s bubble, Reddit fans seem to be loving it. On Reddit, a fan uploads this scene from The Kardashians. Furthermore, fans found North’s response quite comical. One fan says, “North shooting her down with ‘what does she do?’ to that question at the end rofllll.” Another agrees, “North really humbles Kim lmaoo I feel like this also tells us that the nanny’s do all the parenting.” Additionally, a commenter points out Kim’s reaction, “Lmao when North replied ‘What does she do?’ Kim looked like she was fuming.” Another person agrees, “Kim’s face after North said that lmaoooo.” Notably, another person comments on the parenting, “North really humbles Kim lmaoo I feel like this also tells us that the nanny’s do all the parenting.”
