Cindy Busby is in Ottawa, Canada filming what is described as a “Hallmark movie.” The most intriguing about this new is that it is a new Darcy movie.
Does this mean that there will finally be a third movie in the Unleashing Mr. Darcy series? Also, will fans of the Jane Austen-inspired romcom get to see Ryan Paevey portray the classic romantic hero with the modern twist, yet again?
According to Inside Ottawa Valley, Cindy Busy is currently in Carleton Place filming Paging Mr. Darcy. She has been playing the character Ashley Stanton since October 15. However, there is no other information on who else is starring alongside her.
Although this movie is described as a “Hallmark movie,” it is always possible that they used this label to describe it as a light romcom. This often happens as Hallmark is the pinnacle for these sorts of movies.

Is Paging Mr. Darcy From Same Ryan Paevey Hallmark Darcy Movies?
For many Hallmark fans, the two Darcy movies, Unleashing Mr. Darcy, and Marrying Mr. Darcy are all-time favorite movies. In these Jane Austen Pride & Prejudice modern reimaginings, are based on the Teri Wilson book, and characters.
In these movies, Cindy Busby portrays private school high school English teacher, Elizabeth Scott, while Ryan Paevey portrays the mercurial dog show judge, and gazillionaire, Donovan Darcy. There are adorable Cavalier King Charles dogs, an aunt who disapproves of Elizabeth, and her wildly inappropriate family.
Therefore, it seems unlikely Cindy’s new movie, Paging Mr. Darcy, is from the same collection. That is because, in the first two movies, she meets, then marries, Darcy. There is no need to meet a Darcy impersonator. It looks like this is a new Jane Austen-inspired romance for television viewers. Besides, her name is not the same in both movies. In the 2016 movie, she is Elizabeth Scott, while in this new movie, she portrays Ashley Stanton.
