Ed Kelce Saving Special Seat For Taylor Swift At Super Bowl
As the NFL heads into week eight, the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face off against the Denver Broncos. Although the Chiefs currently sit at 6-1, it seems that the main focus is on the bubbling romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Since the pair were seen together, swifties have taken over the NFL. At any game the singer attends, there are more than enough cameras pointed her way. And while some might grow annoyed, Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, not only praised the star but is also saving her a seat at one special event.
Given her massive popularity around the globe, some might believe that Taylor Swift exudes those diva vibes often carried by celebrities. But according to Ed Kelce, she is anything but a diva. He recalled their first interaction and how she impressed him. He said, “I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her. We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around.”
Ed Kelce Impressed
Having spent a great deal of time in the private family suites at Arrowhead Stadium, Ed Kelce explained how the room can get messy. “In the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.” As for what he thought about the gesture. “I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really, to me, said a whole lot.”
With Ed Kelce’s approval, he appeared excited about his son finding happiness. “I just think it’s great. They’re two wonderful people and they are enjoying each other’s company and supporting each other.”
Another Super Bowl
Although the NFL isn’t even halfway through its season, Ed Kelce is already looking into the future at the Super Bowl. And with the Kansas City Chiefs continuing to dominate their division, he apparently is saving a seat at the Super Bowl for none other than Taylor Swift. Already a fan of Taylor Swift, he added, “She’ll be in the middle of the Eras Tour so…”
For those wondering, Ed Kelce is correct, Taylor Swift will be in the middle of her Eras Tour in February 2024. But when looking at the tour dates, she has a performance in Tokyo, Japan on February 10. The Super Bowl is held on February 11. So technically he is right, but can something as simple as distance keep love apart? Time will tell what happens. However, first, the Chiefs have to make it.
