Gabby Windey Denies Hiding Relationship With Robby

Months after Gabby Windey split from Erich Schwer, Bachelorette fans thought she soft-launched a new boyfriend, but instead, she was with Robby Hoffman, so she seemed to keep her relationship hidden from fans. On Friday, she opened up about it and she seems to have been a bit evasive and deflected.

There was speculation when the former Bachelorette posted a photo of herself holding hands with a person. That came in July and a lot of speculation arose about who she might be dating. Of course, nobody expected that it might be another woman. After all, she’d been on Bachelor Nation working her way through multiple male suitors. So, there was some shock and anger when she came out in August.

Gabby Windey revealed a lot over the last six weeks, and she mentioned that she’s really confident that things will work out. In fact,  they already discussed marriage and raising kids together. Additionally, she decided that she’d probably never date another man again.  At one stage, she talked about how she came out to her family who accepted her new relationship with Robby. ABC fans at least liked that for her. This week, she spoke about hiding Robby for a while.

People Magazine caught up with the former Bachelorette star ahead of the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada. They attended an iHeart event and the outlet revealed that the couple certainly weren’t hiding anything. In fact, they held hands openly. So, their reporter popped the question about keeping her girlfriend under wraps before coming out. In fact, a somewhat vague reply managed to dodge the point of the question quite skilfully. She replied and talked about their families.

The outlet cited Gabby Windey as saying, “We were out in our personal lives. Our friends and family knew, so we weren’t actively trying to hide anything.” The answer seemed evasive as everyone already knew that story. Did fans know before the big reveal on The View? The answer is no. So, really, some people might assume that she did, in fact, keep her relationship hidden for some time.

If Gabby Windey was skillful at evading questions, then it might explain why she claimed that the producers of The Bachelorette controlled every aspect of her season. At the same time, Erich Schwer seems likely to have dodged a bullet in his married life that never was. According to Robby’s other half, once they came out, they found a sense of relief. She also told the outlet, “It’s just nice being open about it and just being able to be ourselves and celebrate our relationship.”
