Real Reason No Filming S18 Inside Robyn & Kody’s Home?
Why don’t the Sister Wives team members film inside Kody and Robyn Brown‘s home? That’s one question fans are asking as Season 18 continues.
Only one episode of Season 18 has come out, but fans aren’t holding their breath to see more of the house this season. Since the Brown family moved to Flagstaff, viewers noticed something very interesting. Film crews are seldom allowed in Kody and Robyn’s home.
Is there any specific reason behind that?
Did Kody and Robyn ban film crews because of their COVID-19 rules?
Sister Wives fans know they probably will never get to see much of Kody and Robyn’s home in Flagstaff. But why are they intent on keeping cameras out? Fans on Reddit started discussing this topic recently.
Over time, fans have suspected that Robyn has a hoarding problem and they’re just embarrassed about the house’s state. But one viewer has a different theory.
“Is this why they don’t film in Robyn’s House?” a Redditor titled their post on the platform. “So given how old the ‘new’ season footage is the reason they didn’t film that Meri scene inside because Robyn is not vaccinated meaning the crew isn’t allowed to film inside. Was that a thing in 2021?”
Another Reddit user mentioned that Kody Brown has a very friendly relationship with the Sister Wives producer. As a result, he probably requested to have limited shooting time in Robyn’s house.
“I’m sure he has his demands that production has to choose to accommodate, such as showing their hoarder house full of the most expensive purchases from the trashiest mall in their area,” the Redditor said. “This is a reasonable, if annoying, concession to make in order to keep him satisfied enough to continue working.”
“The non-vax theory just doesn’t hold for many reasons. They have no problem filming Kody and Robyn, nor their kids, inside anywhere but Robyn’s house,” another Reddit user pointed out.
Will this be the end of Sister Wives?
Sister Wives Season 18 is now airing new episodes on TLC. But how much more life does the show have in it? The Brown family previously said they would keep filming as long as the network wanted to. But some fans think the show could come to an end sooner rather than later.
“TLC wants to see if people truly want to have a spinoff series on Christine and Janelle,” one source reportedly shared with The Sun. “If that’s the case, then it’s practically guaranteed that this will be the last season of Sister Wives.”
