Chad and Erin have five kids, Carson, Brooklyn, Everly, Holland, and Finley. Carson is their only son, so he was thrilled when he learned that baby number six is a boy! The little one is due to arrive in December, so the family is finalizing all of the details, from buying baby items to settling on the perfect name.
Since the couple announced their pregnancy back in May, fans have been trying to predict the baby’s name. Since Carson is the only boy and has an honor name, Charles Stephen Paine IV, it’s unclear what they will do for their second son. But fans agree that Carson and Charles are strong names, so that could be a hint about a potential boy’s name.
Holland and Brooklyn have place names, so the same could be true for baby number six. Other fans think Chad and Erin will go with a trendier name like Finley and Everly.

On Friday evening, they released a new video. In the video, the husband and wife sat down and answered their most-asked questions from fans. They talked about life in Florida, whether they’ll move back to Tennessee, Chad’s job, and more. Of course, fans are most interested in learning the baby’s name, so that question popped up quite a bit.
The Bringing Up Bates star revealed that they have chosen the name William Gage Paine.
Since Carson is named after the Paine men, their second son is now named after Erin’s dad and grandpa, who are both William Gilvin.
