As we reported, on Wednesday, August 16, Zach and Whitney revealed that their little girl made her debut. The couple already has four other children, Bradley, Kaci, Khloé, and Jadon. When announcing their newest daughter’s birth on Wednesday afternoon, the couple didn’t share her name. Because Whitney and Zach’s first two daughters’ names begin with the letter K, many thought they would continue with this theme.
Fortunately, they didn’t keep fans waiting very long before spilling all of the sweet details about their fifth kiddo.

On Instagram on Wednesday evening, Zach and Whitney announced their little girl’s name. They shared several adorable pictures of her in a tiny pink outfit with a bow on her head. In their caption, they revealed that they’ve named her Lily Jo.

Little Lily was born on Tuesday, August 15. She’s 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and 19.25 inches long.

Fans may know that Jo is a family name. Zach’s mother’s name is Kelly Jo. Kelly Jo’s mother was Betty Jo. Alyssa Bates Webster selected the middle name Jo for one of her daughters, Maci, in honor of Kelly and Betty.

Of course, in response to all of their posts on Wednesday, Zach and Whitney Bates have gotten lots of kind comments. Fans are doting on the adorable baby girl and they are glad to hear that she arrived safely.
Now, their latest post about Lily Jo’s name is getting a lot of attention. Many of Zach and Whitney’s followers are in love with the baby girl’s name.
Zach’s younger sister, Katie Bates Clark, said, “Love the name 😍😍😍” Lawson Bates also commented to say he loves the baby’s name.
