Sources Say Joy Behar Nowhere To Be Found, What Happened?

The View hosts can be hot-tempered and very opinionated, oftentimes they clash. Yet, this is the foundation that the series was built on. A group of women coming together with different points of view, sharing them with viewers at home. However, it can sometimes lead to drama and overreactions which might have been the case with Joy Behar. She recently was nowhere to be found on an episode of the long-running talk show. So, what exactly was the problem and where did she sneak off to? More so, what prompted her to make an exit and was it really that serious?

According to Page Six, the problem had to do with the cast of Jersey Shore. Apparently, Joy Behar opted not to film with the cast of the hit MTV reality series for one reason only. She and cast member Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi seemingly have a bad history that led Behar to disappear while the gang chatted. Per Joey Camasta, who is Polizzi’s makeup artist, Behar: “chose not to be in the segment and was hiding the whole time.” Additionally, it has not been a comfortable situation the previous times the cast has appeared on The View with Joy.

Therefore, Joy Behar completely stayed away. “So then this time when we went back, she famously was not in the segment, so she stayed away. She didn’t want to be involved in that segment, apparently,” Camasta shared. He happened to be there, as well but watching from wings. Despite what Camasta is claiming, an insider says this is simply untrue. Allegedly, the plan was always to not have all of the hosts there during the interview. That way, they could comfortably make room for all of the cast members to sit and chat.

Bad Blood

So, where did the bad blood between Joy Behar and Snooki even begin? According to the Jersey Shore star, she shared that Behar had cornered her once in a bathroom. There, she let her know that she was not even Italian. This tale was retold when the cast appeared on WWHL with Andy Cohen. Clearly, it left a bad taste in Snooki’s mouth. This is not a lie as Behar did admit to doing this but she never actually said who she said it to. Moreover, she insulted the cast so it is surprising that they even returned this time around. Snooki went on to mock Behar years ago but did apologize which was accepted. Unfortunately, the bad blood is still there.
