American Idol judge and winner Carrie Underwood stunned in the finale dress she wore twenty years after winning the show. She was the Season 4 winner and went on to have a phenomenal career, which made her the perfect replacement for Katy Perry.

It is hard to believe that Carrie Underwood won American Idol almost twenty years ago. She was the Season 4 winner, and Simon Cowell predicted she would dominate the music industry. Carrie has done just that while also being a wife and a mother of two boys. Plus, she had a Las Vegas residency that blew the roof off all of her fans’ expectations. As a new judge, Carrie is being very fashion forward, from glam dressed to rocker chic. She has been praised for all of her fashion choices. Yet, it was her latest ensemble that was filled with love and nostalgia.
Carrie broke out the dress she wore to the Season 4 finale for the Monday, April 28th episode of Idol. She did so in honor of “iconic Idol moments,” and even broke out her finale jacket. The fact that she still had these items and that they fit like a glove was absolutely incredible. Admittedly, she did not look like a fresh-faced kid anymore but rather a sophisticated woman. So, it was Idol 2.0 for Carrie Underwood. She posed in the dress, her long locks waved, as she smiled.

As Carrie was showing off her iconic winning dress, she looked at American Idol viewers. After giving a full view of the ensemble, she noted how it still fit. Although she may not be in her twenties any longer, Carrie Underwood still has a rocking and youthful body. This brought back so many memories for fans who remembered voting for Carrie against Bo Bice. As aforementioned, she also broke out her finale jacket, but paired it with a black dress rather than pants. In her style list, the jacket was listed as her own.

Memories Flooded In
Seeing Carrie Underwood in her winning American Idol dress and jacket brought so much nostalgia to the fans. They were overwhelmed by the memories that the outfit represented. So many viewers were transported back to 2005 and how much fun they had watching her win. More so, they remembered voting for her and that sweet moment when she won:
