In Love All Over Again Season 2: Canceled Or Renewed By Netflix?
Spanish media outlet Fotogramas, broke the unfortunate news that Netflix has decided not to renew In Love All Over Again for Season 2. Sadly, the coming-of-age romantic comedy is one of three shows that Netflix decided to axe around the same time.
One of the most shocking cancellations was Welcome to Eden, which What’s On Netflix claims is one of the top shows watched internationally on Netflix so far this year. The third series axed by Netflix was Sky High: The Series.
Why Did Netflix Decide Not To Renew The Romantic Comedy?
Naturally, the biggest question fans who fell in love with this romantic comedy have is simple: Why? Why did the streaming giant decide not to move forward with Season 2 of In Love All Over Again?
In Fotogramas’ confirmation the series would not return for Season 2, the outlet did not clarify why the streaming giant made the decision to cancel the series. What’s On Netflix speculates the series likely didn’t have a large enough viewership for the streaming giant to want to push play on Season 2.
The Netflix fan site goes on to reveal In Love All Over Again only managed to land in Netflix’s Global Top Ten for a very brief period of time. Unfortunately, that is a pretty huge red flag as it is reportedly easier for shows international series to land in that top ten unless they are just a huge flop with the audience.
Scrolling through social medial platforms, such as Twitter, the series also didn’t encourage very much chatter from subscribers. Likewise, there doesn’t appear to be many subscribers at all urging Netflix to move forward with Season 2. And, Netflix subscribers have NO issues about being vocal on social media when they want something. So, it is possible the series wasn’t renewed simply because it just isn’t something subscribers enjoyed.
