Kevin Costner Claims Ex’s Plastic Surgery Added To Child Support
Yellowstone star Kevin Costner has fired back at his soon-to-be-ex-wife Christine Baumgartner who has asked for six-figure monthly child support payments. He claims that those figures include her plastic surgery bills, not just care for his three youngest children.
What else has Costner claimed in the latest round of the highly contentious Costner divorce?
Did Kevin Costner’s Ex-Wife Christine Pad Child Support Request With Her Plastic Surgery Bills?
On Thursday, more accusations have been claimed in the continuing saga that is Kevin Costner’s expensive Hollywood divorce. According to People, the Yellowstone star has called his 49-year-old soon-to-be ex’s six-figure request for child support as “highly inflated and unsubstantiated.”
Currently, Christine Baumgartner Costner is asking for $248,000 a month to support their three children, Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13. She contends that this is going to keep their children together in the lifestyle they have grown accustomed to. Furthermore, she also expects the Field Of Dreams star to pay for their children’s health care, private school tuition, and any extracurricular activities that they may participate in.
The Yellowstone Star Fires Back At Plastic Surgery Expenses In Child Support Request
Kevin Costner’s team has fired back at this outrageous sum that his soon-to-be-ex-wife asked for in a recently filed court document. “Guideline monthly child support based on Kevin’s gross cash flow available for support is $123,620.” In addition, the document stated, “Providing the minor children with more than bare necessities does not require providing ludicrous extravagance designed to primarily benefit the supported parent.”
What exactly are they hinting at? The documents contend that the mostly figure that Christine Costner is asking for is for her own personal needs. This includes plastic surgery, a private trainer, and “unallocated credit-card expenses.” The statement specifically mentions that “The children do not use the services of private trainers, only Christine does.” And the kicker, “the plastic surgery expenses of $188,500 a month belong to Christine–not the children.”
The paperwork also contends that Christine Costner should know which credit card expenses are for her, and not for her children. They state that “not even a minimal effort is made to allocate them accurately.” That indicates that she sent the full statement without taking out her personal expenses, and not identifying expenses that are for their children.
Is Kevin Costner’s Wife Ever Going To Leave His House?
Back in 2004, before Kevin Costner married Christine Baumgartner, she signed a prenup. This prenup requires that she vacate their home within 30 days. Now, it is more than 60 days since she filed for divorce from the award-winning star. When is she leaving?
According to the court filings, she will move once the courts determine the monthly child support fee. That is on July 12.
This prenup also states that she is to receive $1.4 million. The papers state that she has been given this money already.
