Is Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown About Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Romance?
Hallmark has teamed up with the Kansas City Chiefs for Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Ever since the news broke that they were filming this first-time NFL and Hallmark collaboration, people have assumed that this is the story of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance.
That is not the case.
When Hunter King and Tyler Hynes were on The Today Show on Wednesday, they asked this question. Hoda Kotb asked the duo, “Can you talk about the plot of this? Some people think it’s the Taylor and Travis story.”
Tyler responded. “It’s not actually that, but kind of adjacent.” He continued. “I think the whole world is inspired by this love story and it’s impossible for it to not find its way into the movie.”
We’re telling a multigenerational love story, a love story between the two of us. I feels like something quintessentially Hallmark, while still serving the people who want to see a big football movie.
Although Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, is in the movie, as well as Coach Andy Reid, and others. However, neither Taylor Swift nor Travis Kelce are in this movie. Moreover, this is not their love story. But, it is Arrowhead Stadium, and this is Hallmark.

In Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, Alana Higman is a Chiefs fan, as is her whole family. Her parents met because their families had season tickets next to each other. She signs up her family to win the Fan of the Year Contest. They are one of three finalists, and Derrick, head of Fan Engagement has to decide who the winner is.

When Is The Premiere Of Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story?
The premiere of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is on Saturday, November 30, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. In addition, this new movie starring Hunter King and Tyler Hynes will be available to stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.
