Emergency: Andrew Files To Suspend Amber Portwood’s Time With Son
For a few months now, the waters had been pretty calm between Teen Mom star Amber Portwood and her baby daddy, Andrew Glennon. Unfortunately, it is now being reported that the drama between the former MTV couple is ramping up again.
Per an exclusive report by The Ashley, it has been revealed that Andrew Glennon filed an emergency motion to ask a judge to suspect Amber Portwood’s time with their son, James.
A few days passed before Amber Portwood filed a motion as well. She filed a request to have Andrew’s motion tossed out. Moreover, Amber wanted the judge to force Andrew to pay the legal fees she is facing because of his emergency motion. The judge, however, decided not to toss out Andrew’s emergency motion. And, a hearing is slated to take place tomorrow (June 29th) in the state of Indiana. Now, because Andrew lives in California, the judge granted permission for him to appear before the court remotely.
Andrew has also spent time filing a list of witnesses and exhibits that he argues will support why he believes Amber’s time with their son James needs to be suspended. Yesterday, Amber did file a rebuttal with the court.
Current Custody Arrangement
As those who have followed this story know, Andrew Glennon moved to California with his son James about a year ago after the court granted him sole custody. In January, however, the court decided Amber could have James for five overnights each month.
Per the custody agreement, Andrew Glennon flies with James to Indiana every other month for visits and Amber flies to California to visit James on the alternating months.
At this time, Amber Portwood has not mentioned anything about the current drama stirring between her and Andrew. Her cryptic social media posts, however, have indicated something is currently going on in her life. Just three hours ago, the MTV personality noted that everything needed a little rain in order to bloom.
Unfortunately, the report does not include any details regarding what happened that caused Andrew to file this emergency motion. MTV fans assume additional details will come out after the hearing.
