Bebe Rexha was performing at a sold-out show in Lower Manhattan, New York when a cell phone flew across the crowd and cracked the singer in the face. Quickly grasping at her face, the singer turned and fell to her knees on the stage as members of her team slowly rushed onto the stage as they realized she was injured.

Taking to Twitter, one individual who caught the incident on camera noted the singer had an “incredible show” that was ruined when someone chucked their phone onto the stage. Sharing the brief video of what happened, the individual added they hoped Bebe was alright after what happened.
The singer was rushed to the hospital following the attack.

The singer shared a few photos of her bruised and battered face as she gave her fans a thumbs up with a bit of a smile on her face. Bebe Rexha’s Attacker Arrested
According to Billboard, Bebe Rexha’s attacker has been identified and arrested. Nicolas Malvagna, a 27-year-old from New Jersey, told police he intentionally tossed his phone at Bebe’s face because he thought it would be funny.
The singer’s attacker, however, may not be laughing now as he faces a whole slew of charges including two counts of assault in the third degree, one count of harassment in the second degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and one count of attempted assault in the third degree.
