Kylie Jenner Hit With Lawsuit For Nonpayment
According to TMZ, Kylie Jenner has been hit with a lawsuit by a model who claims the reality TV star and beauty mogul missed a payday for a few different photo shoots. The model is reportedly looking for a six-figure payout over an untimely payment.
The lawsuit (obtained by TMZ) claims a model named Sasha Palma is coming after Kylie after working at a few photoshoots for Kylie’s cosmetic products.
In the court paperwork, Sasha Palma states she was hired for a single-day photoshoot in June 2020. She had a daily rate of $2,000. Per her contract, Kylie Jenner was expected to pay her by “early July.” Sasha, however, claims Kylie missed the payment deadline by over 30 days.
The frustrated model points out that Kylie Jenner was more than capable of paying her in a timely manner. But, opted not to. Now, she’s suing the reality TV star for $60,000 as a penalty for breach of contract.
The Reality TV Star Calls BS
A representative of Kylie Jenner reached out to TMZ to call BS on the entire situation. The rep confirms that the payment was made to the model within the Net 45 day window that was agreed upon. Kylie Jenner’s rep claims to have receipts confirming she did not breach the contract. The representative goes on to point out it is entirely possible the modeling agency held onto the payment. That, however, isn’t on Kylie to resolve.
Per Kylie Jenner’s rep, this disgruntled model couldn’t have been too unhappy as she reached out to Kylie looking for more work following the shoot. Likewise, the model also reached out asking for a letter of recommendation to give to other potential clients.
Do you believe that Kylie Jenner would skip out on a bill for anything considering how much money she’s worth and how much she probably makes every hour of the day?
