In response to her tragic and untimely death, Jacky Oh sales are reportedly exploding. The big question many fans and followers of the former MTV personality is simple. Who gets the cash from these sales amid her passing?

Speaking to TMZ, a rep of Jacky Oh reports the sales of her cosmetic brand are through the roof in response to her passing. In the two weeks since news of her death broke, her representative confirms her brand, J Nova Collection, has received a flood of so many orders that some products are going out of stock.

Following the shocking news of her death, the rep confirms the company has received over 2,000 new orders for Jacky Oh’s products. These products include lip gloss, lip liner, and eyelashes (among other cosmetics). Jacky Oh’s rep also tells TMZ the traffic to the company’s website exploded to such a point following her passing that it had to shut down temporarily because it couldn’t support the sudden surge of people.

So, who gets the cash?

The MTV alum named her beauty brand after her first daughter, Nova, whom she shared with her partner DC Young Fly. Jacky’s rep tells TMZ there are currently talks about keeping Jacky’s legacy and rebranding to make Nova the new face of the company as the family assumes the late MTV personality would have wanted. As such, it can also be assumed the profits from the surge in sales will also likely go to Jacky’s children.

She Was Extremely Involved In Her Business

Jacky Oh’s death was devastating for J Nova Collection as she was reportedly a very hands-on business owner. She managed the company with her sister Megan who is the company’s creative director. For now, all of Jacky’s loved ones are pitching in to keep the business going and manage the influx in sales to the best of their abilities.

While it sounds like the plan is for Nova to one day take over the business, it is worth mentioning she is just six years old. So, it will be a while before she’s actually able to step into her mother’s shoes and take over. For now, Jacky Oh’s family is sorting out who will step into the role temporarily and make decisions based on Nova’s best interest as the future owner of the business.
